Marjorie Ellis, an extraordinary woman whose smile was cherished by all who knew her, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023. Born on February 24, 1952, Marjorie will be remembered as a radiant, witty, and kind individual, casting a light of generosity and intelligence wherever she went.
Marjorie had a deep appreciation for music, with ABBA and The Beatles being cherished favorites. She found joy in the simplicity of life, relishing recreational activities such as travelling, spending time with her family, and gardening. Her spirit for adventure and her love for her family were just a few of the qualities that made Marjorie a truly special person.
Marjorie's personal journey in life was filled with an abundance of love. She was first married to Chris Evans in 1977 and together they had a daughter, J. Shannon Martinez and a son, Michael Evans. Later in life, Marjorie found love again and married Ron Ellis in 2012. Her family was her utmost joy and she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and wife.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Ron Ellis, her son, Michael Evans, and her daughter, J. Shannon Martinez. She leaves behind her grandchildren; Isabella Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Jayden Evans, and Charly Evans. Her son-in-law, Luis Martinez, and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Mueller, also mourn her passing. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Billy Evans, and her sisters, Cathy Jones and Cindy South.
