Marjorie's obituary

Marjorie (Burdette) Miller, age 96, of Anderson, SC. formerly of Peoria, IL., passed away January 29, 2023 after a brief illness of Pneumonia, and Flu type A.  She was born on March 24, 1926 to Elmer & Olive (Hunt) Burdette in Alta, IL., and had three brothers and six sisters, one of which survives Velma (Burdette) Peters of Bartonville, and a son Albert Burdette of Hanna City. 

On June 30th, 1945 she married the love of her life Billy Leroy Miller, (who preceded her in death) and raised three daughters, Nancy Modglin of Peoria, Debra Lancaster of Peoria, and Heidi Perdelwitz of Seneca, SC. who also survive, along with ten Grandchildren, ten Great Grand Children, and one Great, Great Grandchild.

She enjoyed boating, bowling, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, bingo, word search puzzles, and an occasional gambling trip, but mostly the Grandchildren and Great Grand Children.  

Marjorie worked as a printing machine operator, and retired from F.P. Mail Systems.  

Family and friends are invited to attend services that will be held  Saturday, March 11th, at 11:00 am, at Northwoods Community Church Chapel located at 10700 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL., followed by a reception in her honor.
