It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marit Revenew on January 4, 2025. Born on April 16, 1954, Marit was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and humor. She will be remembered fondly for her inviting personality and her profound belief in the principles of kindness and acceptance.

Marit was a devoted mother to her two children, Mette Revenew and Terje Revenew, who survive her. She was also a cherished grandmother to Terje Revenew-Brewer. She leaves behind her loving brother, Terje Bolstad. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Revenew Jr, and her parents, Olav and Ragna Bolstad.

Marit was a connoisseur of good food and drink. Her favorites included Norwegian meatballs, fish dumplings, and her daughter's cooking. She also relished coffee and hot tea. An insatiable reader, she was an avid fan of the 'In Death' series by J.D. Robb. She also had a rich appreciation for music, with 'Harvest Moon' by Neil Young, Shane McGowan, and '13 Horses' by Sigvart Dagsland among her favorites.

Some of her favorite pastimes included reading books and magazines, crocheting, and attending coffee dates with her daughter. She also cherished the times she spent watching cooking shows with her grandson and engaging in phone conversations with her son. Her favorite local spot was Au Marche in Lawrence, KS, and she enjoyed vacationing in Lindsborg, Kansas.

Marit's greatest accomplishments included her two children and her career as a physical therapist. She left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and wonderful memories. She was unique, genuine, and she touched the lives of many. Marit's absence will be deeply felt, remembered in the shades of blue she loved so much, and forever etched in our hearts.
