Marrisia "Zadie" Antoinette Brown passed on December 3rd. 2021. She lived a full eighty-two years. While with us she was a mother to so many young people. Not even just her own. She was known for braiding a neighbor's hair or sending food to a sick sibling or friend. She was a seamstress, a chef and a nurse. She will be missed but her essence will continue, as she is survived by her five children: Shirley Brown, Anthony Brown, Alonzo Tansil, Tammy Brown, Andre Brown and a total of sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  

Zadie's services will be held in her hometown of Martin, TN.
