I first met Ms Miles when she brought her 3 young granddaughters to my church. I had Jennifer, Karen and Jeanette (I knew her as Chuckie back then) in my 1st grade class. When the girls lost their mother she was there as a mother figure, and took care of them along with her son their dad. The most precious gift I received from the girls was a brass Christmas ornament of Noah’s Ark. I hang it proudly on my tree every year, front and center. I am friends with all 3 girls on Facebook. Ms. Miles was an angel and a Godsend for them. I’m sorry they lost her but she brought love and stability into their lives. I will always know her as being a loving and caring woman. She was a joy to know. I loved her dearly. RIP Sweet lady🙏🏼
She was such a loving woman! She took care and provided transportation for her 3 granddaughters to go to the First Baptist Church in Surfside. I had all three girls in my class. She was a very supportive grandma. I feel the loss that Jennifer, Karen and Jeanette (I always called her Chuckie) are feeling. I’m so blessed to have known her. I love all of you! You made teaching fun. Please give my love and condolences to your dad. Love, Ms Parker
My grandmother, Marion, was an angel here on earth to me. Selflessly raised me and my sisters to help our father, and was always there to cheer me on. No words can describe her importance to me. She will forever be in my heart.
