It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Marion Hanks on September 21, 2024. Born on March 10, 1931, Marion lived a fulfilling life marked by love, compassion, and a remarkable legacy of family unity.

Marion is predeceased by his beloved wife, Minnie Lee Hanks. He is survived by his caring children, Manuel Hanks, Janet Harrison, and Claudia Jones. He was a cherished grandfather to Alexandria Randolph, Kimberly Johnson, CJ Randolph, Corey Davis, Ganansha Davis, Devon Randolph, Quentin Randolph, and Hazel Davis. His loving presence and guidance in their lives will be greatly missed.

Those who knew Marion would describe him as a loving and caring individual. He instilled in us the importance of doing what makes us happy. His greatest accomplishment, raising three amazing children, stands as a testament to the remarkable person he was. Marion’s legacy is one of family unity and sticking together through thick and thin.

A Celebration of Life for Marion will be held on September 27, 2024, at 9:00 PM at 308 Old Green Pond Rd. All who knew and loved Marion are welcome to attend the service to share in the remembrance of this extraordinary man.

Marion's light may have dimmed in this world, but his memory and the indelible impact he had on his family and loved ones will forever twinkle in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
