Forever in our hearts, remembering our beloved
Mario Quintana, 55, of Bacliff, Texas passed away on February 22, 2025. Mario was born in Miami, Florida to his loving mother Maria Dolores Taylor and father Mario Quintana. Mario attended Alvin High School.
He had a strong work ethic and dedicated to his careers throughout his life. His career and life work began in the vending machine business then he pursued a career in the plant industry where he was a scaffold builder and excelled to a plant superintendent.
In 1994, Mario met Kimberly in Clear Lake, Texas. Mario and Kim have four beautiful children; Cierra, Colton, Cameron, and Grace.
When Mario was not working, he would spend his days fishing, hunting, watching the Houston Texans on game day and spending time with his family. Mario was known for his unwavering determination, strong will, loyalty, generosity, dedication and the love he had for his family. He was a man of immense humor. His friends and family will cherish the unforgettable moments of his silly side such as dancing, rapping, and dad jokes.
Mario was predeceased by his mother, Maria Dolores Rodriguez Taylor and son, Anthony Cole Quintana.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly Quintana; children, Adrian Quintana, Cierra Nicole McKinney and husband Allen McKinney, Colton Michael Quintana and fiancé Jessica Mcgarrahan, Cameron Jacob Quintana, and Grace Nona Catherine Quintana; grandchildren, Grayson Michael McKinney, Bryson Aaron McKinney, Rorie Elliott, Remi Elliott, and Elias Quintana; sister, Melissa Quintana; brother, Ruben Ocasio and wife Nicole Ocasio; Mother-in-law, Connie Traver Davenport.
Mario was a loving husband, devoted father, brother, uncle, and a cherished Papi (grandfather). He will deeply be missed by all who knew him, who will forever cherish the memories of his laughter and kindness.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home, with a celebration of life service beginning at 2:00 PM.
