Mario Jose Ruiz of Grandview WA stepped out of this life and into heaven on May 18th, 2022, after battling several illnesses for a few years. He passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife, Deana, by his side. Mario was born in Prosser WA to Jesus S. Ruiz and Josefa D. Ruiz on December 3rd 1953. Mario was the 4th child of 13. In younger adulthood, Mario moved to Michigan where he met the mother of his children, Cindy Coleman. They had two children together and Mario was a loving father. In 2007, Mario moved back to Grandview WA, where he married his wife DeAna Castilleja on December 31st 2007. Mario worked in a couple different factories before retiring. He loved spending time with his wife and family. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and watching old western movies. He always enjoyed joking around and making the people he loved smile. Mario wanted so badly to come to Michigan in recent years to visit his children and grandchildren, but his illnesses prevented that from being able to happen. Mario was very proud of his children and grandchildren and proudly displayed their pictures right next to him. Always showing hospital staff during his stays, all of his grandchildren. Mario will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends. Surviving him are his wife, DeAna Ruiz, Mother of his children, Cindy Pyne, his children Melenie(KC) Slates, Dominic(Jessica) Ruiz, Robert(Teresa), Richard, Ryan, and Yvette. His grandchildren, Brittany, Kaitlyn, David, Nathan, Jayde, McKenzie, Trent, Jasmine, Ayden, Scottlyn, Dominic, Logan, Carrigan, Isabella, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Eloy, Atrayu, Daniel, Royce, Riley, Xander, and Julie. 2 great grandchildren, Luna and JoMichael. Siblings: Luke, Lydia, Dolores(Mike), Jesus, Cornelio, Felipe, Josefa, Socorro, Felix, Cleo, Lupe. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends as well. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Josefa Ruiz, brother Jose Juan Ruiz, brother Joe Ruiz. Inlaws, Juan and Crisanta Castilleja, grandchild baby Rose, Cousin John Delarosa, nieces Hailey Howe and Dolores Hernandez and many other family and friends over the years. The family asks that you join them  for a Memorial in Honor and celebration of the life of Mario Jose Ruiz, on June 18th 2022 from 1-3pm at the AuGres Pavilion and Splash pad Park. It is located at 203 S. Waters St. AuGres MI 48703. Lunch will be served and we welcome you to bring kids and swimsuits. We want his grandchildren to have a beautiful day in memory of him.  Please do not purchase any flowers.
