It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Sanderson on April 29, 2023. Born on June 13, 1971, Marilyn lived a life filled with love, warmth, and care for those around her. She leaves behind a lasting impact on the lives of her family, friends, and loved ones.

Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Sanderson, who she shared many beautiful moments with during their time together. She will be forever remembered by her cherished daughter, Joanne Sanderson, and her loving son, Mark Sanderson, who will continue to carry on her legacy of love and warmth in their lives. She will be missed by her grandson, and her 6 siblings, and many nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be held on May 13, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Honeymoon Island, a place close to her heart, where she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn's favorite drink was sweet tea, reminding us all to savor the sweetness life has to offer. As an avid bird watcher, she appreciated the beauty of nature and brought this appreciation into her daily life.

Marilyn's favorite color was blue, reflecting the calm and tranquility she brought to those around her. Described by her loved ones as caring, smart, and warm, she embodied these qualities in everything she did, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, allowing the waves and the sand to nourish her soul.

One of the most important lessons Marilyn shared with those who were fortunate enough to know her was to "sit back and relax." This simple mantra speaks volumes to the approach she took in life, reminding us all to take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer and to always cherish those around us.

Marilyn Sanderson's memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, as we continue to honor her life and cherish the time we spent with her. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will never be forgotten.
