Marilyn's obituary

Marilyn Ruth Jones

Passed June 26 2024 

She was born January 15th 1935 in Detroit and moved to South Lyon as a young girl, were she met and married Junior Jones

Marilyn had a love for Christ that was reflected in every facet of her life, her love of God was shown through her love and subport for her husband Junior, (who preceeded her in death nov 5th 2023) for the 72 years of marriage they shared. Though the love and grace she gave raising her 4 daughters, and also in choosing her close friends, all which shared her love for God.

She was never loud or harsh, but she was strong and unbending in her faith, and love for her family.

She was a talented artist, she loved painting ceramics early on, and later paintings with acrylics, sometimes that gift would just seep out and she could creat the most amazing works of art.

At one time she was nicknamed "the road runner" for her time spent with friends shopping and visiting.

 Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Corinn(Tim) White, Robin Jones, Brenda(Bob Henn)Yarbrough, and Kelly(Jack) Reutter .

Also her grandsons Dan St Charles, Brian Yarbrough, Adam Yarbrough his wife Jam, Cory Yarbrough, Maxwell Reutter, and great-grandsons, Seth his wife Valerie and son River, Tyler and Josh Farley, and Rod St Charles and son Rydar, also Mackenzie Wheeler (Allens daughter) , She is predeceased by her husband Junior and two beloved grandchildren, Allen St Charles and Jesse Farley, who with open arms are waiting in heaven to celebrate her arrival.

Marilyn will be missed by all that new her.  

A memorial service will be held July 6th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at 5456 Deltona Blvd. CHURCH OF CHRIST We invite you to join family and friends to celebrate the beautiful life Marilyn lived.
