HANSEN, Marilyn - Of Linden, age 88, died Friday, June 7, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, June 18,  2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, 

Pastor Rob Lindsay officiating.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Private family hours Noon to 2:30pm June 14th, 2024

Visitation 3-8pm June 14th  and 10am June 15th,  until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Marilyn was born in Flint, Michigan on May 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Alfred and Leona (Hamilton) O’Neill. Marilyn married Rodney Hansen Sr. in June, 1954. She graduated from Central High School. Marilyn was a member of Argentine Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to garage sales and spending time with her children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Surviving are son, Rodney Jr. and wife Linda Hansen;

Daughter, Theresa and husband David Herrick;

Grand daughter, Krysten Olejnik and husband Eric Olejnik

  11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren;

And several family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
