Marilu Omer Shelton, Age 84 formerly of Sturgis, Ky, passed away at Redbanks Nursing Facility in Henderson, Ky.  Marilu was born March 19, 1939, in Caseyville, KY. She lived in Union County until 2013 when her health deteriorated and she moved to Henderson, Ky.  She was a care taker for many people throughout her life. She cared for her nephews, her mother and father, her children, grandchildren, and husbands. She also helped to take care of several of her elderly neighbors along the way. She enjoyed watching T.V., doing puzzles and playing with her grandchildren.  

She was proceeded in death by her parents Allen and Mable Omer, Her sisters, Lydia Omer, and Wanda Omer Barnard. Her brothers, Mac Denney, and Warren Omer. Three husbands, Roy Owen, Jim Rich, and Jesse Shelton.   

Her survivors include:   

Daughters- Patti Omer Collier (Troy) of Henderson, Ky, and Laura Owen Tabor (Scott) of Marion, Ky.     Stepson-Marty Rich (Kim) of Princeton, Ky.  Brother-(Lowell Thomas)  Tom Omer (Kathy) of Crayne, Ky.         

Grandchildren-Dillon (D.J.) Hall (Stephanie) of Shawneetown, IL ,   Breanna Collier and Flora Collier of Henderson, Ky. 

Great Grandchildren—Haylie, Bailey and Kayleigh Hall of Shawneetown, IL.      

                Several Nephews and Nieces that love their aunt Lou.
