Hi Mom, your hubby Ron is hanging out here in Niagara Falls with his grand kids.
Nessa is a very happy baby girl at nearly 5 months old now. She is full of smiles and sweet little laughs. You would have loved her so. I wish you could have met her. Charlie who's 3 now says Granny is "away". Grampa got him his first real bike the other day and he rode it for 2 hours today. I can just hear your laugh, I know how much you loved your grandson, and how much he loved you. Frankie still barks whenever Dad leaves the room, I know how much you loved that about him lol.
We are hanging in there down here, but miss you dearly. Can't help feeling we didn't get enough time with you, but that is mostly selfish. You had a great impact on many folks and we were very blessed to have had you in our lives. Sending you a great big hug

Aunt Marilee was and always will be so treasured. She always made me feel special and as well as feel good about pursuing my faith and my own sense of calling. I ended up a social worker like her and my mom! I remember so many visits to see her and Ron and my cousins in Bremerton and their home always felt so beautiful and welcoming. I will miss her loving cards, her words of wisdom, her laughter with my mom, and her example of love.

Hi Everyone,
I'm writing because you were dear to my mom, and as you know she passed away 2 weeks ago. We wanted to do something special to remember her, and were thinking we could put together a virtual memorial service. If you'd like to share a photo, memory, video, or written or audio passage, please send a file to tatetim@gmail.com by Friday, April 28th. You can share your thoughts, a song or whatever moves you. We could put everything together and we'd all get together on a video meeting and view no matter where we are in the world. We can chat with each other and remember Marilee Tate.
Glad we were all able to know MJT!

Serving her family, her friends and many clients she would minister to.

She was selfless, always thinking of others before herself.

My mom had a beautiful voice, but had a bit of stage fright. She would sing with me though and sang this duet a few times at church and a friend’s gathering. I don’t sing much anymore, and am missing an important voice here, but thought I’d sing it once more in her memory. I will miss her voice!

My mom had this amazingly loud whistle she could do with her two front fingers. When I was 9 or 10 before the time of cell phones, she would whistle when it was getting dark and I could hear her for a roughly one mile radius. "Aw man. Guess I gotta go home", I'd say to a friend across the street, down the hill, up the block, or a few blocks away.

Marilee was my lifetime friend. She shared her great gift of caring for others with love and a grace of spirit.
Matthew 25:23 Her lord said unto her, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord.’
I was so enriched by her, that I am devastated by the loss of her being. All my love my friend of friends, Barbie.
