My twin grandkids loved going to visit Aunt Sissy. Julia would always bring her a small plastic bracelet and Matty would bring her candy. They would take turns wheeling her around in her wheel chair. If you know these kids, Matty would wheel her oh so carefully and Julia always seemed to "accidentally" take corners with a little too much speed! They were fascinated that she was the same age as Queen Elizabeth and thought they that the two of them had so much in common with their outlook on life and their energy level. When I told Julia that she had passed away she replied "I thought she would live forever". Our love, Linda, Julia and Matty
For almost all of my 71 birthdays Aunt Sissy would call around 10 am and sing Happy Birthday to me. I didn't think much of it when I was younger, but thru the years I realized how special it was. As the day would go on different family members would call to wish me happy birthday and ask "did she call yet - how is she and what's new with her?" I will l miss her and these special memories. Love, Linda
Our deep and sincere sympathy for your loss. We’ll always remember playing dominos with Marie. And how my family and your mom accidentally met up at the airport in Minnesota when we all had to change planes coming home from different locations. Marie was a lot of fun and will be missed. ❤️
