To all of Marie's family,
I just learned of Marie's untimely passing, and I am so very saddened by her loss.
She was such a a good and kind person when I shopped at her seafood counter at Schnuck's. She always had a smile and would tell me how proud she was of her family.
I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.
Mike Whelan.

Hey little tribe. I pray all went well today and that the presence, prayers and love of others comforted your hearts! My most sincere condolences đ. I lost my mom this last December and the hole that was left in my heart was both unforeseen and has a depth I am only beginning to recognize.Â
Lizzy, your mom was undoubtedly so very proud of your overcoming, perseverant spirit. I sure am. Youâve become an amazing mom, wife, foundational family member and believer! The strength you have shown is a legacy to your mom. Each day you live it you reflect her joy.Â
To the whole family, this will be a year of firsts. Itâs a hard road but you do have each other to lean upon. Tears, stories, joy, all of the highs and lows are now something that can pull you together. Â Donât be afraid of where you are at! Chances are that you are not alone. I pray that true joy becomes part of your remembrances and that you find a way to share that too.Â
Big love to all, Michelle BrownÂ

I am so sorry for your loss, and I feel terrible that I am just now finding out about here passing. So many will miss her, she touched SO many lives, as you mentioned! I first met her at our store, Star Uniforms, when she would come in to buy scrubs, and spent many hours talking to her over the years, as I am a customer as Schnucks. I have never met a more beautiful and kind soul!!!  I wish you peace and will keep you in my prayers.  Jan Talkington

I met Marie in 3rd grade at a Girl Scout overnighter at the Bettendorf old high school gym. Then, we met again in 4th grade band and weâre friends throughout our band years, middle school and high school. Marie was kind hearted, gentle and had a great smile. I remember her old Zephyr that she drove us around in (she was the first to get her license). I remember going through the drive through and she was placing the order and asked for it âto goâ - we gave her endless grief for that. I remember that she worked at Donuand - the best donuts of all time! She is remembered fondly. Tony and I send everyone our hugs.Â

I met Marie when I started at Schnucks this past summer. She was the sweetest person you could ever meet. She would show her appreciation for you in her own way. She would always have her coworkers backs and would let you know that she would always be there for you. Iâll miss you Marie. Rest easy.Â
