Marie's obituary
Marie was born March 21, 1938 in Caney, Kansas to Betty Lou (Northart) and Herman Keen. Marie married Ray Cox in 1956, and they had 4 beautiful children together: Raymond, Eldon, Erylnne (Lynne), and Malinda (Mimi). They divorced and after living in California and Texas, Marie moved to Utah where she met her true love, Donald Henry. They were very happy, and enjoyed 18 years together, sharing a home and a life filled with love and laughter.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Marie. She loved to sit with a soda and read a good book. She was a talented artist creating oil and acrylic paintings, many with native American themes. Along with painting, she enjoyed a variety of crafts, including beautiful crochet work. She was a self-taught piano player, who enjoyed Neal Diamond and traveling. She loved being outside and had a deep appreciation for nature.
Marie leaves behind her partner, Donald Henry, 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren with 1 on the way, a brother, sister and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is being planned. We will be in touch with friends and family regarding the details.
