It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Cota, who departed from this life on April 30, 2026. Born on December 18, 1987, Marie lived a vibrant and filled life, leaving an indelible impact on all who knew her.

Marie was renowned for her funny, caring, silly and witty nature. Her boundless energy and humor radiated through every room she entered, making her presence felt in the most enchanting way. Marie's spirit was a beacon of positivity that easily rubbed off on those around her, making them feel cherished and loved.

Remembered for her kindness and generosity, her legacy can be summed up in her own words: "Be Kind". This expression was not only a statement but also a way of life that Marie embodied beautifully. She continually showed kindness and compassion to all, making the world a better place with her actions. She epitomized the statement of not only being kind but spreading kindness everywhere she went.

She leaves behind a strong and loving family who cherished her deeply. Her surviving family includes her proud mother and father Kathy Harlow and Gregory Cota; her loving grandmother Betty Pennington;her caring sisters, Christina Gregory and Cody Cota; and her beloved children, Ethan Cota, Emma Nickels, and Evan Nickels. Each family member owes a part of their strength, laughter, and love to Marie's profound influence.

Marie will be missed tremendously by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, joy, and kindness will echo through the lives of her family, friends, and everyone she touched. Although she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in the paths we tread.
