It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Marie Elizabeth Costanzo, born February 1, 1946 to Carmela and Ettore Costanzo in The Bronx, NY. Marie went home to our Lord and Savior on July 22, 2025. She was one of seven siblings, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and sister-in-law. Marie is survived by her brothers, Anthony Costanzo, Ettore Costanzo& wife Larisa, John Costanzo& wife JoAnn and her children Ronald Fitzsimmons and Coralinda Bisignano in addition to all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ettore and Carmela Costanzo, her husband Kevin Hanlon and her brothers, Joseph Costanzo, Salvatore Costanzo and Robert Costanzo. Marie will be remembered affectionately by her extended family and friends.

Marie had a full and happy life. She traveled and lived in various locations in the United States, from the Bronx, NY to making Seattle her home over the last several years. Marie made many friends wherever she went.

Marie was college educated and extremely creative, talented and resourceful. Marie loved to cook for her friends and family. She enjoyed painting, sketching singing and dancing. She also loved flowers and drew inspiration from them which is reflected in her many paintings. As a child she played the accordion. She was very involved with her church community. Marie gave of herself unconditionally to all who were in need. She wore her heart on her sleeve. Marie was incredibly smart and never judgmental. She was the best sister anyone could ask for.

Marie will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
