Mickey was a sweet, thoughtful, and endlessly kind soul, but also full of humor and spirit. She had a quiet strength that left an impression on everyone who knew her. Her warmth was genuine, her kindness effortless, and she had a way of making you feel like part of her family from the very start.

From the moment I met her, she welcomed me with open arms, making me feel as if I belonged in her home just as much as I did in my own. Her small stature belied a personality that filled every room, and her presence made you feel seen, valued, and loved.

After I lost my mom, Mickey looked out for me in ways that I’ll never forget. We’d meet for lunch or dinner, and those moments are memories I’ll always cherish. She offered a listening ear, gentle encouragement, and a comforting sense of familiarity that made me feel like I still had a whole home.

Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her gentle spirit or her devotion to the people she loved most. Her resilience was inspiring, as was the unconditional love she had for her family—a love I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand on so many occasions.

To Craig, Christi, and the rest of her family—my heart is with you. Mickey’s love and light live on through you, and I hope you feel her presence in all the little moments. She touched so many lives, including mine, and I’m deeply grateful to have been part of hers.

Rest peacefully, Mickey. Your kindness and love will never be forgotten.

Mickey was truly "one in a million".  We knew Mickey and Larry thru Larry's employer, where my husband worked also.  They were both wonderful people; very caring, giving, and eager to help whenever and wherever they could.  We went on many trips with them and they were always a joy no matter what the circumstances.  Both my husband and myself were honored to have known them.

Although I only knew Mickey a short time she was a joy. She was having such a great time at Brinkley’s and Roarke’s wedding. Love to you all.

My condolences to you Christi and your entire family. When we were in High School you were like a sister to me and your mom was like a second mom to me. I loved child care and children when we were young and “grew up” to own a child care center and couldn’t wait to share that with your mom.

I remember staying at your house on the weekends and going to church on Sunday and your mom always made a roast after church and we would sit around the table and have a family meal and she and your dad always treated me like family!

So many memories… summer days laying in the pool, watching the Cosby’s, your mom loved that show!

Rest In Peace sweet Mickey. I am so sad for everyone here but so happy for you that you are made whole again and with the love of your life… no doubt with lots of babies and kids all around you.

I miss you my friend but you will always hold such a special place in my heart. I will make a big effort to see you in 2025.

All my love, Shannon
