Min's obituary
Marianne Whitley, 75, of Angleton Texas died of a cardiac incident at home on August 30, 2022. She was born on October 21, 1946, in Joliet Illinois, the daughter of William and Mary (Scahill) Whitley.
Marianne graduated from St. Francis Academy in Joliet Illinois. She was instrumental in starting and growing Our Lady Queen of Peace School as a founding parent, volunteer, Board President and School Secretary.
In addition to her parents, Marianne was predeceased by a sister Sally (Jim) Smith. Surviving are three sons, Peter De Acetis and his wife Debra of Lakehills Texas, Michael De Acetis of Houston Texas, and Samuel De Acetis and his wife Allison of Brazoria Texas; four grandchildren, Mary De Acetis, Elizabeth De Acetis, Joseph De Acetis, and Bradley Berg; one brother William Whitley and his wife Tracey of Bellevue Nebraska; many nieces and nephews.

Marianne's personality was larger than life, her laugh was infectious and her shoes cannot be filled. May she rest in peace.
