Marianne's obituary

Marianne H. Tobin was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away at age 90 from natural causes on February 28, 2022, in her hometown of Atlanta.

Marianne was born on November 4, 1931, to Marguerite and Laurel Holland. After attending Bass High School, she met Dan Keishian, and they wed in 1950. They had three children, Joy, Julie, and Steve. In 1969, she married Bob Tobin, who stayed by her side throughout the rest of her life. In 1975, she gave birth to her fourth child, Robert.

She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother, caring, and loving. She supported her children and husband through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Marianne was passionate about music and art, and enjoyed playing the piano, making pottery, practicing calligraphy, decorating cakes and painting. She filled her home with warmth and kindness and will be missed greatly.

Marianne was predeceased by her brother Benjamin Holland, sister Dorothy Herring, and son Steve Keishian. She is survived by her husband Bob Tobin, sister Jeannette Austin, sister Marie Bennett, and her children, Joy Keishian, Julie Keishian, and Robert Tobin.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 8 at Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services at 4671 S. Main St, Acworth, GA 30101 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
