Marian " Chippy" Brown was full of life all of her 83 years. She was a woman that wore many hats. She had a love for family gatherings, babies and some good down home blues. Unfortunately, after her health started to decline and we were not able to care for her at home, she spent the last few years of her life at a nursing facility. In February she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. This was devastating news to our family but not to Marian. She had strong faith and knew that with the love of her family, friends and Church she could get through anything. Besides the Cancer, she had numerous other medical conditions but she always had a positive outlook and could always make you smile until the very end. Unfortunately, due to covid we were unable to visit in person for the last 4 months of her life except to visit through the window and on the phone. The very last week of her life she spent at the hospital, we were by her side letting her know that we loved her and was able to give her comfort knowing we were all there in person and could actually hold her hand until the very end. The family has not been able to raise all money for funeral expenses due to insurance purposes.
