Mariam “Hedy” Lambe April 21, 1942-January 27, 2024, age 81 passed away peacefully in the company of her children after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her son Patrick Lambe, Jr, Joanna (Jim) Corliss-Dryden, her son John Lambe, brothers Fredy and Erko, niece Gilda and nephew Fredy, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents Adela and Jaime, sister Rita, husband Patrick Lambe, Sr and her son Andrew Lambe. Hedy was born in Lima, Peru. After graduating high school she worked in a bank where she met her beloved husband Patrick of 37 years until his passing in 2009. They were married in Brussels, Belgium and traveled the world together all over Europe, South America and the Middle East. They began their journey residing in Brussels and then in Beirut, Lebanon where she had her twins Patrick and Joanna. She went on to live in Connecticut, Miami, Istanbul and eventually settled in Palm City, Florida in 1994. Hedy loved traveling, entertaining, and most of all had a passion for bowling. Hedy was loving, generous and never lost her sense of humor even in her final hours. She lived a life full of love, laughter and adventure. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing her spirit will forever be cherished and her memory will always be in our hearts. We will observe and share memories of her life with a small gathering of family and friends on February 24, 2024 from 12-2pm at her home in Palm City.
