Mariam was such a calm, smiling, down to earth, and optimistic lady. I still remember her speech during the grand opening ceremony at Lincolnshire. It was very heartwarming and inspirational. My deepest condolences for the loss of a truly wonderful person and I wish strength for the family at this tough time.
I still remember the moment at the Nexus holiday party back in 2022, when I got a chance to shake hands with Mariam and told her how much she has inspired me. Despite of her sitting in the wheelchair at that time, I can still feel her compassion through her smiles and the determination gaze through her eyes. Her spirit of empathy and kind, perseverance and endurance, tender-heartedness will live among us forever. My prayers go to all her loved ones and wishing her family peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.
Mariam always had a kind and welcoming smile on her face.  She would always make you feel like you were part of the family and made it her vision to make Nexus the extension of the family.  I am grateful for being a small part of her life.
My most sincere condolences to Shahid and family.  Mariam was one of the kindest, smartest, most driven leaders I've ever known, and she treated everyone like they were part of her family.  I'm so very thankful she allowed me to be a part of Nexus and her vision.  While her professional career is so inspiring, I've always been more impressed with her family.  I see her amazing qualities in all her children who proudly carry on her legacy.   My thoughts and prayers are with Shahid and his family.
Mariam was a very kind, intelligent, passionate and generous person! I will always remember what she said to me when I was interviewing for Nexus: We want people to come to work every day and feel pride and love for what they do at Nexus. At that time, I thought: Yes, that's the place I'm looking for too. I can proudly say that every single word she said became true not only for me but for many other people too.    I used to work with Mariam almost every day, and tried to learn as much from her as I could. She was a great leader, and I will miss her terribly! My prayers go out to all of her loved ones!
When I started in 2018 down at the office Mariam would walk by the office almost everyday to say hello.  In her quiet unassuming way she would chat about all kinds of things.  It did not take me long to realize that behind that keen mind, she was not only building a personal relationship but keeping her finger on what was going on. She was warm, intelligent and a pleasure to work with.  She will be greatly missed. Karen and I wish the entire Ahmed family our heart felt condolences.
Mariam was the most intelligent, thoughtful, kind and generous person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.  I am so grateful for the day I went into Nexus for an interview.  I am so blessed that she became my friend.   I grew to love her and her family very much.  I will miss her terribly.  My heart goes out to her wonderful family.
My condolences to the family. I first met Mariam over 6 years ago. Before joining Nexus I worked for several companies, each for a brief period. Mariam had a warm way of making everyone feel like they were part of the family, which is how I knew I found my new home.
I first met Mariam 6 years ago when I was interviewing for Nexus. She was my final interview and I distinctly remember her saying with a smile that if I joined their team that she promised I wouldn’t regret it. Those words have still been upheld to this day. My prayers go out to all of her loved ones.
