María del Carmen Zamora de Mendoza nació el 6 de enero de 1967 en Jamay, Jalisco, México, y dedicó su vida a dar mucho más de lo que jamás pidió. Crió con amor y paciencia a sus nueve hijos, y fue una segunda madre para muchos más. Ya fuera cocinando para su familia, escuchando los dolores ajenos hasta altas horas de la noche, apareciendo cuando más se le necesitaba o tendiendo la mano sin que se lo pidieran, siempre ponía a los demás antes que a sí misma.
Quienes conocieron a Carmen saben lo que es sentir un verdadero calor humano. Tenía la voz más dulce, el corazón más grande y una forma única de hacer que todos se sintieran parte de su familia. Sus abrazos curaban cualquier tristeza, su risa levantaba cualquier ánimo y su sonrisa iluminaba cualquier día.
A Carmen le encantaba la música en vivo, preparar deliciosas recetas para su familia, los almuerzos dominicales después de misa y las excursiones a los lagos y ríos cercanos. Pero lo que más disfrutaba era pasar tiempo con las personas que amaba. Nunca olvidaba un mensaje de buenos días, un cumpleaños, una graduación o una oportunidad para hacer sentir especial a alguien.
El 14 de octubre de 2025, el mundo perdió a una de sus almas más bondadosas. Carmen partió a los 58 años, rodeada del amor que ella misma sembró durante toda su vida.
Ella vive atravez de su esposo, Martín Mendoza, y sus hijos: Fabiola, Isabella, Marisela, Zinthia, Carmen, Martín, Ramón, María e Isidro, así como sus 26 nietos y muchos amigos que continuarán compartiendo el amor que ella brindó tan generosamente.
Nos reuniremos para honrar su vida el 7 de noviembre de 2025 en Bay Area Funeral Home, ubicado en 1701 Little Orchard Street, San José, CA 95125. Favor de asistir tal como son — a ella le hubiera gustado ver sonrisas, abrazos y escuchar historias.
Fue, sin duda, un alma dulce y llena de amor. Somos bendecidos por haberla conocido y amado.
Carmen ahora camina junto al Señor, descansando en Su paz eterna. Aunque nuestros corazones sienten su ausencia, encontramos consuelo al saber que ella está en un lugar mucho mejor — rodeada de luz, amor y alegría. Un día volveremos a verla, en la presencia de nuestro Salvador.

Maria Del Carmen Zamora De Mendoza was born on 6 January 1967 in Jamay, Jalisco, Mexico, and spent her life giving far more than she ever asked for. She raised nine children with love and patience and was a second mother to many more. Whether she was cooking meals, listening to others’ griefs late into the night, showing up when it mattered, or lending a hand when asked, she always put others first before herself.
If you ever met Carmen, you knew what true warmth felt like. She had the gentlest voice, the biggest heart, and an ability to make everyone feel like her family. Her hugs could heal any hurt, her laughter could help you out of any low, and her smile made any day brighter.
Carmen loved live music, crafting delicious recipes for her family, Sunday brunches after Mass, and day trips to local lakes and rivers. But what she loved most was time with the people she cared about. She never missed a good morning text, a birthday, a graduation, or a chance to make someone feel special.
On 14 October 2025, the world lost one of its kindest souls. Carmen passed away at the age of 58, surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, Martin Mendoza, and her children: Fabiola, Isabella, Marisela, Zinthia, Carmen, Martin, Ramon, Maria, and Isidro, as well as her 26 grandchildren and countless friends who will carry forward the love she shared.
We will gather to honor her life on 7 November 2025 at San Jose’s Bay Area Funeral Home, 1701 Little Orchard Street, San Jose, CA 95125. Please come as you are — she would have wanted laughter, hugs, and stories.
She was truly the sweetest and most caring soul, and we are blessed to have known and loved her.
Carmen is now walking with the Lord, resting in His eternal peace. Though our hearts ache with her absence, we take comfort in knowing that she is in a far better place — surrounded by light, love, and joy. We will see her again one day, in the presence of our Savior.
