It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Maria Sandel on June 19, 2024. Born in 1973, Maria's life was a testament to strength, compassion and unconditional love.

Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael Sandel, and their children,  Felicia Quezada-Martinez, Elisa Quezada Wontorcik, and Marian Wells. Her grandchildren, Noella Quezada DeLong, Grayson Wontorcik, Enedina Wells, Darrick Wells, and Jamison Wells will miss their grandmother's warm embrace and infectious laugh. Maria's legacy also extends to her son-in-laws, Zachary Wontorcik and James Wells, as well as her siblings, Martin Schleder and Leo Hall, and sister-in-laws, Brandi Hall, Melanie Sandel and Wendy Sandel. Her mother, Elisa Schleder, will forever cherish the memories of her daughter.

Maria was predeceased by her beloved father, Martin Schleder.

With a heart always open to accept others, Maria was known for her warm, kind, and loving nature. Her stubborn streak was tempered by her fantastic sense of humor, and her nurturing personality extended beyond her family to include a deep love for animals.

Among Maria's greatest pride and joy were her three daughters, a testament to her devotion as a mother. Her life was focused around her family, and the time they spent together were her most cherished moments. Maria was always there to lend a helping hand, a trait she encouraged in others with the words, "Help one another."

Maria's enduring legacy is one of welcoming love and kindness. She taught us to accept everyone, always with open arms, reminding us of the value of unity and compassion. Through her actions and words, Maria's spirit lives on in those she loved and left behind.

While we mourn her physical absence, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life that touched so many others and made our world a better place. Rest in peace, Maria, your love will forever be our strength.
