With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Maria L. Garza, a woman of unwavering faith, an adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Maria peacefully departed this life on June 30th, 2023, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 21, 1933, in Mexico, Maria's journey of faith began at an early age. Her devotion to God shaped her life and guided her actions, becoming an inspiration for all those who knew her. When she and her late husband, Isaac Lopez Garza, migrated to the United States and settled in McFarland, California, Maria's faith became a beacon of hope and resilience for her family.

Maria and Isaac were blessed with a large family - two sons and five daughters, whom Maria raised with the same values of faith, love, and compassion that she held close to her heart. Her 17 grandchildren were the delight of her life, and she left a spiritual legacy that will continue to guide them.

Known for her nurturing nature, Maria's open heart and unwavering faith made her a pillar of strength for her family and community. She was always ready to lend a hand, share a prayer, or offer words of comfort to those in need.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Isaac, Maria leaves behind her seven children, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren,  and a multitude of relatives and friends who will deeply miss her enduring faith and kindness.

Maria's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and resilience. Her unwavering devotion to God and her selfless love for her family will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit and teachings will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
