Maria Gloria Harbin passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2023 at the age of 66. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on January 22nd,1957 to Luis B. and Lucinda Hinojosa. She was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

She will be remembered for her enormous capacity to love, her bright, infectious smile and generous nature. Her altruistic efforts manifested in many ways during her life starting with the US Navy where she served honorably as a corpsman. She carried her knowledge and love of others into health care working for many years in different clerical capacities and settings until she found the most fulfilling position of all; Grandma. She found joy and purpose in helping to build a successful business with her loving husband, but she truly excelled at all things family. How very fortunate for us all that everyone to her was “family”.

She is survived by her husband Harold “Lee” Harbin; her son Richard Harbin; her daughter Jessica Beitler, son in law Donald Beitler; her grandchildren Jordan (Geraci), Taylor, Brody and Kai; her great grandson Landon Gordon; her father Luis B Hinojosa; siblings Luis A Hinojosa and Rebecca Anderson; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, dear friends and those blessed to call her “Mom” or “Grandma”.

She was preceded in death just 5 short months ago by her loving mother, Lucinda Hinojosa, who we know was waiting to receive her with open arms.

Her cremains will be returned to her family to await internment at Mira Mar National Cemetery.
