Born on the 23rd of April, 1929, Maria departed from us on the 5th of August, 2025. Her bright spirit and incredible energy are memories that will continue to warm our hearts in her absence.
Maria was characterized by her hardworking nature, generous heart, and spunky spirit. Her outstanding work ethic was showcased throughout her career, where she diligently served over 20 clients throughout many years in housekeeping, also working seasonally at the Gangi Brothers Cannery in Santa Clara, Ca. Maria also loved, knitting and crocheting making many beautiful blankets, scarves, and other items. Being a member and helping often at the S.E.S Portuguese Hall in Santa Clara was a joy to her as well. She dedicated her life not only to her work but to her loved ones, instilling values of hard work, generosity, and family in all those around her.
Maria's legacy extends beyond her professional accomplishments. She was known for her unwavering commitment to helping others and embodying family values. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria's love for her family was unquestionable and reciprocated in kind.
