It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria "Toña" Garcia, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Maria departed from this world on October 18, 2024, following a rich and abundant life that began on September 21, 1926.

Mourning her loss are her devoted sons, Julio and Joel Garcia, and her beloved daughter, Sandra Garcia. Maria also leaves behind her daughters-in-law, Maggie and Doris Garcia, who loved and admired her deeply. Her legacy continues in the lives of her cherished granddaughter, Jenilee Bernal, and grandson, Michael Garcia, who will remember their grandmother's warmth and kindness.

Maria, affectionately known as "Toña", was a woman of simple pleasures. Her joy was found in the comfort of her own home, a place filled with love and family. A devout woman, Maria found solace and wisdom in the pages of the Bible, one of her favorite books.

Maria's shared love for food and family gatherings will be missed by all. She found joy in the simple delight of a well-made pancake. Her favorite beverage, a comforting cup of coffee, was a constant companion. The memory of her love for the television show 'El Gordo y la Flaca' brings a smile to our faces, as does her preference for the color pink, a hue that reflected her gentle spirit.

In the hearts of those she loved, Maria "Toña" Garcia will forever be remembered as a symbol of strength, caring, and unending love. She instilled in her family the values of kindness, faith, and respect. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire us all.
