Margret Jeanne Petersen (skinner), 73, of Danville, IL, passed away on May 31,2023.

Margret was born to the late, Lucy and Harry Skinner. After graduating from Westville High School, she went on to study business at Danville Junior College and Governor State University. She retired from Oak Forest Hospital as secretary to director of nursing. Margret leaves behind her husband Ernest Petersen, two daughters, Michele Simenson and Jennifer Petersen of Danville. Margret was preceded in death by brother Paul Skinner. She is survived by  brothers Phillip Skinner and Matthew Skinner, sister Jane Skinner Bartlow and  her very special love, granddaughter Emma Simenson. Also, many nephews and nieces.  Her love and support will be greatly missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services at this time.
