It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margitta Doersam, who was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. Margitta was born on the 17th of December, 1939, and took her leave from this world on the 3rd of February, 2024.

Margitta was renowned for her inviting personality, embodying a gentleness of spirit that was immediately felt by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her loving nature was ever apparent in her actions and her words, earning her a reputation as a friendly and compassionate figure within her community.

She was a woman whose legacy is deeply interwoven with her family—a kind and devoted daughter, an inspiring figure to her grandsons who endeavoured to love as profoundly as she did, and a beloved figure to her great-grandchildren. Her enduring influence will continue to be felt through the lives she touched and the love she imparted.

Margitta is survived by her cherished daughter, Renee Goertz, who will carry forward the spirit and memories of her mother. The loss of Margitta leaves a void in our hearts, yet her spirit continues to enrich our lives.
