Margie's obituary
Margie was born on May 27, 1963 in Charleston, Illinois. She was the daughter of Wade and Alta (Walton) Brown. Margie was the youngest of five children, including three brothers and one sister. Margie graduated from V.I.T high school. Margie befriended Carla Hicks during her school years, a friendship that lasted throughout her life.
Margie struggled with kidney failure and as a result was disabled at an early age. She was fortunate to have had two kidney transplants during her life.
In 1982, she married Randall Wilson, and despite her illness, they went on to have a daughter, Cassandra Marie Stoddart (Wilson).
Margie was a determined individual who persevered over life's obstacles despite her chronic illness. Those who knew Margie often admired her strength. She never hesitated to help others in need. She spent many years working for Easter Seals in Jamestown, North Dakota as an in-home caregiver. Margie had a contagious sense of humor, and used it to lift others up when they were feeling down. Margie was also very involved in her daughter's school events and community events.
On May 20th, 2005, Margie married Steven Crumrine, and they shared a happy marriage together.
Margie was a very caring, social and artistic person. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and using Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. Margie had a soft heart for animals in need of a home, and rescued several over the years. She will be greatly missed.
Margie was predeceased by her father Wade Brown, and her brother Joe Edwards . She is survived by her husband Steven Crumrine of Thermopolis WY, her mother Alta Brown of Industry IL, her brother Perry Edwards, her sister Anna St Clair, her brother Stewart Edwards, her daughter Cassandra Stoddart of Moorhead MN, her grandchildren MacKenzie, Ryker, and Everett, step-daughters Marsha, Jennifer, Becky, Kelly, and Emily, 11 step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the National Kidney Foundation. The memorial service scheduled for November 28th has been postponed due to COVID. The service will be rescheduled in the upcoming weeks.
