Margarita “Margie” Caycedo

Margarita “Margie” Caycedo (née Adorno) passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2025, following a recent illness. She was 68 years old.

Margie was born on October 25, 1957, in Manhattan, New York. Throughout her life, she lived in Puerto Rico, Chicago, Miami, and most recently Brooksville, Florida.

She was the eldest of ten siblings. Margie is survived by her beloved son, Alex Caycedo; her daughter, Natacha O’Sullivan; her cherished grandson, Jaden; and her son-in-law, Andre. She is also survived by her life partner, Jose; her sisters Miriam, Sara, and Rosie; and her brothers Ernesto, Samuel, Andy, Jose, and Isaac. Margie was preceded in death by her brother Francisco Adorno Jr., and her parents Francisco Adorno Sr. and Margarita Adorno.

Margie loved 3D puzzles, video games, cooking, and spending time with her partner and family.
