Margery Ellen Corbett, born Margery Needle on October 17, 1956, in the Bronx, New York, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Longmont, Colorado.
Margery dedicated much of her career to neonatal nursing, where she found great fulfillment in caring for new mothers and their babies. Her compassion and dedication allowed her to form lasting connections with both colleagues and patients.
In 2000, Margery relocated from New York City to Superior, Colorado, where she continued to embrace life with curiosity and enthusiasm. She had a deep love for traveling the world and learning new languages. A devoted trivia enthusiast, she was known for her ability to complete the New York Times crossword and answer most Jeopardy questions with ease. She also had a passion for shopping for luxury goods and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with those around her.
Margery’s warm and affable nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was an animal lover who cared for several cats and a dog throughout her life, always ensuring they were well-loved and cherished.
She is survived by her husband, Dane Corbett, and her three sons, Matthew, Thomas, and Charles.
Per her wishes, no services are planned. Her ashes will be buried or spread near the resting places of her beloved pets.
