We mournfully announce the passing of Margarita Esquivel Gonzalez, who peacefully left us on February 11, 2025. A remarkable woman full of tenacity, strength, and unyielding spirit, Margarita was born on July 1, 1932, and lived a fulfilling life of 92 years.
Margarita was an exceptional woman, a force to be reckoned with until the end. Known for her hard work, seamstress, and cooking skills, intelligence, and self-sufficiency, she was also a beacon of kindness, generosity, and unselfishness. Always putting her family first, Margarita's love was boundless and unparalleled.
Her teachings continue to enrich our lives. She instilled in us the values of independence, love, kindness, respect, and progressiveness. These lessons, a true testament to her wisdom, will guide us and serve as her lasting legacy to her beloved family.
Among her myriad of accomplishments, one that stood out was her brave journey to a new life. Margarita immigrated to this country at the tender age of 18, where she started working, fell in love, and started a family. Her strength was evident in the way she raised her nine children, all of whom are still living and are a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Margarita's legacy is intertwined with her profound love for her Mexican roots. She held high the traditions, music, cuisine, and way of life of her culture, which will continue to live on through her descendants. Her love for her heritage will echo in our hearts and minds, reminding us of her spirited demeanor and boundless love.
A funeral service for Margarita will be held on February 16, 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm at M. Martinez Funeral Home. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we celebrate her remarkable life and honor her memories.
