I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Meg. I met Meg through dog twitter. She helped me get through the passing of my pug and she also helped me welcome the new bundle of joy Petunia my new pug. Meg was always there to talk with, so sweet and caring. She will be deeply missed by the dog twitter community. We send our condolences to the family.
Meg was a very caring person. One memory that I have of Meg is how much she enjoyed attending the annual Pastors' open houses at Parkgate Community Church. She looked forward to this event each year and often asked to accompany me as we visited the homes. She will be missed.
On Jan. 2nd I called Meg to check on her, as well as Bill. We had a very nice visit & i was so glad that i did get to talk to her one last time. I knew Meg for a lot of years from Parkgate Church. She will be missed! A friend, Jeannine Clark
Meg and I worked together at Parkgate Children's Center for many years and were both part of the Parkgate Community Church family. The last few years of her life, her health became increasingly fragile. She was in the hospital repeatedly because of the chronic illnesses she lived with every day and became more and more homebound herself, along with her husband Bill.
In spite of her disabilities, Meg wanted to be part of our HeartTouch Ministry at Parkgate the last two years of her life. She couldn't make home or hospital visits, but she was excited to be able to offer her regular prayers for and send regular cards of encouragement to those in our church family who were ill or homebound themselves. She told me several times how much this meant to her. She also was excited to be able to participate occasionally in special women's events at the church until her health no longer allowed her to do that.
You will be missed, Meg. I had the privilege of working with Meg at Parkgate Children’s Center when it was open at Parkgate Community Church. Praying for all of her family and friends. I too would text or call when I thought of her. She would come to ladies group and was a member of pastors Bible class for a long time ... praying you are at peace with Jesus... 🤗❤️
Bill, so sorry for your loss. I just learned of it. I always tried to make her birthday on the third so she could celebrate for four days. She was like a daughter to me. I nurtured her during her teaching career. Since moving to Oklahoma, we only communicated infrequently by email or messaging. I always tried to wish her a happy birthday and this was the first I learned of her loss. Again, so sorry.
