She was a borrowed Angel, here in this life, but she couldn’t stay forever. She was heaven sent and heaven needed her back.

Our precious mother Margaret Edna Rutz (Maggie, Marg) of Medicine Hat Alberta, sadly passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 72.

Born in Pembroke Ontario, on January 31, 1950, to Alexander and Edna Rutz.

She was a devoted mother first and foremost to her two daughters, and her 6 grandchildren made up the entirety of her world! Margaret was a devoted grandmother and best friend to her two daughters who was always there when they needed. She also had several long-standing friendships with whom she called sisters, Mary Dayton and Pearl Hambley.

Loving mother of Tammy (Stephen Mitchell) of Townsend Massachusetts, and Nicole Lanthier of Medicine Hat,Ab. Beloved Grandma/Nannie to Bryson, Zachary, Berlyn, Kealy, Harmony and Parker. Sister of Garry Rutz (Marlene), Dorothy Scheuneman, Weldon Rutz. Pre-deceased by parents Edna and Alex Rutz, sister Marlyn LaRocque and husbands Glen Heideman and Roy Lanthier.

We know that your time here on earth is done, but we find some peace in knowing that the angels finally have you back. We were not ready, but your wings were, until we see you again, you will be deeply missed. “Love can be felt beyond death beyond time”
