Margaret's obituary

In Loving Memory of Margaret Mary “Tia” Ramirez

It is with heavy hearts yet unwavering hope in Christ that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Margaret Mary Ramirez, who courageously battled cancer for more than ten years. Born on March 30, 1963, Margaret completed her earthly journey and went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 26, 2025.

Margaret is survived by her siblings and their spouses, her many nieces and nephews and their spouses, and her beloved great-nephews and great-nieces. To her nieces and nephews, she was more than an aunt. She was Tia — a steady presence, a source of joy, encouragement, and strength. She celebrated their victories, walked with them through challenges, prayed faithfully for them, and loved them deeply.

Margaret’s life was marked by her faith in Jesus. Her spirit was joyful and full of life. She radiated kindness, compassion, and laughter wherever she went. In every season, she leaned on the promises of Scripture and trusted the goodness of God. She prayed with intention, offered wise counsel, and pointed others toward Christ through both her words and her life.

She treasured her family. She loved cheering at Oakland A’s, Raiders, and Warriors games with her nieces and nephews, traveling to visit family in Texas, and gathering for laughter and conversation at Solero Court and later in Fresno. Her presence filled every room with warmth and joy.

One of her proudest accomplishments was earning her degree from San José State University at age 46, a reflection of her determination, perseverance, and love of learning. She lived with gratitude, purpose, and a contagious love for life.

As we mourn her absence, we also rejoice in the hope of the Gospel. Because of her faith in Jesus, Margaret is now healed, whole, and at peace in His presence. Her legacy of faith, love, courage, joy, and a resilient spirit continues in the lives she touched.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
