So saddened to hear of Peggy's passing.  Absolutely loved her.  She was a gem.  Played bridge with her at Leisure World in Arizona.  She was always high energy and interested in so many pursuits, all of which she would eventually master.
Peggy always had a kind, warm attitude towards everybody and she always had a song to sing and play with her ukulele.

My wife and I are saddened to hear of Aunt Peggy’s passing. Peggy was an amazing athlete and I remember going to watch her play fast pitch softball.  They gave me a softball for Christmas one year when they came to our house for dinner. My memories of her unfortunately stopped after the death of her son Jimmy. It was surreal to attend a funeral service two days before Christmas. Then going to their home in Miami Shores to see their Christmas tree with presents for him underneath. I am 74 now, but that memory from over 50 years ago comes up every time I hear “Silent Night”. How she and Uncle Tom (my mom’s brother) got thru that is beyond me. Over the past few years we exchanged Christmas cards to keep up.  She is now the last of my aunts and uncles to pass. A sad day indeed.

So sorry to hear of Peggy's passing.  I got to know Peggy in choir and then in line dancing.  We became better friends after she became sick.  We had some good laughs together and many small chats.  She really liked my cherry choc cake!  She talked about her travels in her mobile home and her family.  I'm so pleased to have been able to get to know her.  Missing her but feel blessed to have become her friend!  Mary Payne

Thinking of Peggy and what she meant to everyone.  She was a special friend to us here in Leisure World and in our chorus.
