Margaret (Marge)'s obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret "Marge" DeLisi on August 5, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA. She was a ceaseless beacon of kindness and generosity whose warmth and caring nature touched everyone she met.
Marge was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel DeLisi, Jr, and her four sisters, Rita, Eileen (Lee), Cassie, Mary (Mossi), and two brothers, Eddie, Dennis (Denny).
She leaves behind a living legacy in the form of her son, Matt Ansbro and wife Billie, along with grandsons Jordan, Sam, and granddaughters Casey, and Conner. Also, her nephews Dennis Ansbro, Michael Ansbro (Teresa), her niece Theresa Ansbro and many other nieces and nephews will continue to remember and honor her love and devotion to family.
Those who knew Marge would remember her as a woman of simple pleasures. She had a deep appreciation for BBC network, and General Hospital, which was a favorite pastime that kept her entertained and enlightened. On a more personal level, Marge had a great fondness for shopping at Ross and TJ Maxx, finding joy in discovering simple treasures and bargains.
Above all, Marge was a family woman. Her happiest moments were arguably those spent on the sidelines of her grandchildren's soccer games, cheering them on with the kind of enthusiasm that only a truly loving grandmother can. She was an easy person to talk to, always lending a sympathetic ear and providing warmth and comfort.
Marge's legacy is indeed one of kindness and generosity. She loved her family unconditionally and placed their happiness above all else. While she will be sorely missed, her memory will continue to inspire and impact the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
