I first met Peg when John started with ADAC in the early 80s and moved to Morgan Hill, just North of where I lived in Gilroy. There were some fantastic times at our pool as well as some delightful dinners at their home. Unfortunately ADAC went through a series of “musical chairs” and John was wiser than I and moved on. We eventually reconnected at Matrix Instruments, in fact John was instrumental in getting me my job! Some more dinners at the Mankowich’s in New York where the three of us solved most of the world problems. When Agfa bought Matrix and the Belgian invasion began, John realized it was time to move on. While we never worked for the same company again, we kept in contact, and John and Peg were at my daughter’s wedding in 2001. When John left medical imaging we lost contact, each of us at time overwhelmed with professional and personal issues. Ironically earlier this month I took steps to reconnect and John and I talked for over an hour.
The enclosed picture, taken at my daughter’s wedding, catches what I remember of Peg. Her smile, the twinkle in her eyes, and I swear I can hear her laughter.
