Margaret Keane, 77, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Rocky Point, New York. Born on April 1, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York. Her beloved husband, Thomas Keane, passed away on the same day—a testament to their enduring partnership. She was also predeceased by her sister Marie Patrissi.

A talented artist, Margaret found joy through her artwork. Her creativity was a source of pride, she generously shared her artistic talents with friends and family. Margaret loved animals and enjoyed traveling with her husband Tom. She also treasured time spent with friends and was known for enjoying long lunches filled with laughter and conversation. Her warmth and attentiveness made her a valued companion to many.

Family was important to Margaret. She was a proud grandparent, she delighted in the lives of her grandchildren: Maeve Keane, Laurel Stempak, Daniel Stempak, Madelyn Stempak and Oliver Keane.

She is survived by her son Andrew Keane; her sister Mary Lakaszawski; and her brother Martin Lakaszawski. Her stepsons Christopher Keane and George Keane; her stepdaughters Elisabeth Keane and Lauren Dickinson.

Margaret’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
