Margaret's obituary

Margaret Ann Haskins gained her angel wings on June 10, 2023 at her home in Boerne TX. Margaret was 84 years old.

Margaret’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Margaret was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. Her husband and her started their life in San Antonio, TX and traveled the world while he served in the military. From San Antonio to California, the Philippines, Utah and then they spent the rest of their lives back in San Antonio, TX. Margaret truly enjoyed her career of teaching special needs children. Margaret had undying love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Not a day went by where she didn’t talk about how much her family meant to her. Some of her favorite past times were telling her children and grandchildren about their family history, and the many adventures she’d been on. Her greatest achievement in life was the family her and her husband built.

Margaret is survived by Mary Jane Scarboro of Kansas (Sister), Robert Lance (Son) of Texas, Steve Lance (Son) of California, Dawn Hedgecoth (Daughter) of Oklahoma, Ashley Lovelady (Granddaughter) of Oklahoma, Amber Phelix (Granddaughter) of Kansas, Angela Watkins (Granddaughter) of Texas, Abigail Lance (Granddaughter) of Texas, Alexander Lance (Grandson) of Texas, Cheyenne Lance (Granddaughter) ofTexas, Shannyn Hedgecoth (Granddaughter) of Texas, Camden Phelix (Great Grandson) of Kansas, Olivia Lance (Great Granddaughter) of Texas, Phoenix Tamblin (Great Grandson) of Texas, Cassius Lance (Great Grandson) of Texas.
