Margaret "Sweetie" Gatlin went home to Jesus on September 09, 2023 at age 88.

Sweetie was born to May and Mark Thompson on May 11, 1935 in Franklinton,  LA. Sweetie met her husband, Zeb Gatlin in 1951. They married in June 1952 and went on to have 5 children, Clarence, Emma Gatlin of Bogalusa LA, Gray, Rose Gatlin of Folsom,  LA,  Robert, Ruthie Gatlin of Franklinton, LA, Alice, Curtis Bickham of Franklinton LA, and Bobby,  Stanley Magee of Franklinton LA. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Margaret also loved Her church. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Sweetie joins her mother and father Father Mark and May Thompson, husband Zeb Gatlin in Heaven. She is survived by her children Clarence, Emma Gatlin of Bogalusa LA, Gray, Rose Gatlin of Folsom, LA, Robert, Ruthie Gatlin of Franklinton, LA, Alice, Curtis Bickham of Franklinton LA, and Bobby, Stanley Magee of Franklinton LA and a Host of Grandchildren.
