It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret "Peggy" Hawkins who left us on October 30, 2023, at the age of 82. Born on June 14, 1941, Margaret was known for her warm, energetic, and loving personality.

She was fondly called Peggy.  Her life was filled with joy and she truly knew how to make the most of every moment. She loved going to church, spending time at the beach with her friends, and seeing her grandkids. Walking was her preferred form of exercise, and she often infused these walks with the same energy and enthusiasm she brought to all aspects of her life, chatting with her friends along the way.

Margaret leaves behind her proud and loving family: brother Lewis; children, Debbie and Ronnie; and 3 adored grandchildren. They will immensely miss her zest for life and the warmth she brought into their lives. The loss of Margaret is deeply felt by her family, friends and those who came in contact with her radiant personality.

A Celebration of Life for Margaret will be held on November 11, 2023, from 2-5PM at the Holiday Village Clubhouse. This celebration will not only serve as a goodbye, but more importantly, as a commemoration of Margaret's beautiful life, her undying spirit which she put in Jesus’ hands, and the joy she shared with everyone.

Margaret will be greatly missed, but she leaves behind a legacy of love and positivity. Her light will continue to shine in the lives of everyone she has touched.
