Tina and I want to send our sincere condolences to Dave and everyone. I will always remember fondly working with her when she was on the altar guild.

I met Margaret through bridge. She approached both the game and her opponents with a sense of joy in what she was doing. I was a beginner and very much daunted by the highly experienced players against whom I had to play. Margaret was up there with them, but whereas some were quite harsh and unforgiving, she was always cheerful and didactic in a genuinely caring and helpful way. She offered to sell me some of her points! I got to know her a little better when face to face games resumed after Covid and we would go out for a drink and snack afterwards, but unfortunately I never got to partner her at the table.
Margaret was a truly lovely person. She will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to all her family.

My beautiful mother! You were the best mom ever and the most amazing grandmother! I’ve been told I have big shoes to fill and I certainly do. If I can be half as amazing as you were, I will someday be an amazing grandmother as well because you were over the top amazing! You went above and beyond in so many ways! I love you forever and always! I miss you so much!❤️❤️❤️

Margaret was a strong and amazing woman. I enjoyed her dry sense of humor. Her family adored her as much as she did them. Margaret gave me one of my best life gifts; my dear & lifelong friend Jen Mason Johns. We’ll all miss you Margaret.

Margaret was my friend for well over 50 years. When she and Dave moved to Madison, it was as if our extended family had “come home”. We enjoyed a myriad of special occasions together which continued after I moved to Naples, FL in 1981. After I was widowed, they even attended my 2nd wedding down here nearly 25 years ago. How blessed I am to be the godmother to their eldest daughter Michelle. Sending love to the entire family - especially at this sad time. I can still hear her laughter and that wonderful Ohio accent

Margaret valued her family above all else and has left all of them an incredible legacy of love by example. To have been her friend, was to have been blessed. She valued friendships and committed to them with an unfailing loyalty. I am so thankful that our paths crossed along our life journeys and I will hold fast my many memories of our shared friendship until we meet again….
My thoughts and prayers are with Dave, Michelle, Jen and all of her family. You all held her up in your love and support until her final moments. Peace will come to your hearts.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I did not know her as well as my other cousins but she was so kind to reach out me offering any help as my son was going to UConn. Such a beautiful tribute to her. Love, Donna

My thoughts and prayers go out Dave, Michelle, Jen and their entire families. May your love and support of each other help you to cope with this terrible loss. Margaret was a special friend, and I will miss her greatly. I had the privilege of helping to bring all seven of Margaret's and Dave's 7 grandchildren into the world, which gave me a very close relationship with them all. Margaret was truly the best grandmother any person could be. I learned so much from her about grand parenting, though I'm not sure anyone could be as good as Margaret, she was just the BEST! love, Susan
