It goes without saying that Marcy has been a wonderful wife to my brother Dan and phenomenal mother to my niece Morgan and nephew Edward. I've been fortunate/blessed to watch them grow up to become the acceptional adults that they are. Although Marcy's life was cut short, she accomplished those goal previously mentioned with grace, style, and dignity. What some might not know about Marcy is her incredible knowledge of American History; especially World War II and the Civil Rights Movement in Atlanta. Her dad, Marshall Mantler, served as an aid to General George Patton's 3rd Army during WWII. They were also instrumental in liberating a Concentration Camp during the Holocaust. During the heart of Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s, Marcy was in high school and witness history unfold in the South and Atlanta in particular. Her parents were friendly with Mayor Sam Massell, who was the first Jewish mayor. One of the things I loved most about Marcy, besides her laugh, was her sense of history. She would love to tag along when there was a cool exhibit at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead or join me at the Breman Jewish Heritage Center in Mid-town to see the outstanding Holocaust Exibit and meet a Holocaust Survivor. She always had great stories/insights on what was going on in Atlanta during important periods of our History. I'll always be grateful to her for that and I will miss her companionship when doing fun/cultural activities; it was always a "Big Time" like she used to say!

I’m so sorry for your loss Danny, Morgan and Edward and to many other family and friends. Marcy is missed. She and I shared the same Aug. 10 birthday and I will forever miss our shared lunch date to celebrate our birthdays. I always looked forward to “that” birthday card, the one with the beautiful handwriting and sweet message.
Marcy loved, loved, loved her family. I always enjoyed hearing her talk about all of you and the love that flowed from her for you. She always asked about my family and was a good listener and encourager. She showed me love in some tough times and was there to celebrate the happy occasions.
I miss her. Love to you all and prayers for peace and comfort.

There are so many wonderful things I will remember about Aunt Marcy, but most of all I will remember how she always reached out in times of need. I have endless instagram messages & text checking in on us & my father. Offering support & suggestions. Even offering to book a flight & head up north asap. She loved her family & that was apparent in everything she did. I’m deeply sad I will miss her celebration of life.

I will always cherish memories of visiting with Marcy during the evenings upon my return to the house from market with Danny. After enjoying another of her specially prepared meals, we’d talk about family and life. We’d often times make a late night visit to raid the vegetable stand across the street! We enjoyed being a bit mischievous together!
She’d always sent me home with a book for Michelle and gifts for the girls.
Marcy was smart, thoughtful, and possessed a true zest for living!
I’m sad that my friend has gone but she lives on in her children. I can see her in their eyes and in their smiles.
