Marcus's obituary
A beloved father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Marcus Demir Robinson left this world unexpectedly, at 16 on Nov 8, 2020. Born in Rome,Ga on Dec. 17 2004 to Stacey Robinson and Monica Magoon, Marcus grew up in Atlanta, just east of metro Decatur where he attended Oakhurst Elementary School and Decatur Middle School. Marcus was a lover of the arts and football and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. He was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but he was also introverted and introspective. Appropriately self-nicknamed “Panther,” a symbol of power and grace, he was fiercely loyal to his friends and family. We will always remember his infectious smile, piercing brown eyes and caring personality. His presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Marcus, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Marcus was preceded in death by his grandparents Ron and Sue Magoon. He leaves behind his parents Monica and Stacey ,brother Andrew; sister Staci and his daughter, Eva; grandparents, Alfred and Mary Robinson and Jim Sanchez; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19 at Donald Trimbale Mortuary, located at 1876 2nd Ave in Decatur. The ceremony is followed by a potluck dinner at the Druid Hills Country Club from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. located at 740 Clifton Rd.
