Marcus's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcus Jackson, who left us on May 30, 2023. Born on December 22, 1991, Marcus was a loving husband and loyal friend, leaving an immeasurable impact on the lives of those he touched.

Marcus is survived by his devoted wife, Christina Potter Jackson and their loyal four-legged son Biscuit, his caring parents Darlene and Peter Jackson, countless friends that were like family to him, and so many more who loved and cherished him beyond measure. A Funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on June 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Barbara Roman Catholic Church. Friends and family are invited to a Viewing on the same day at 10:00 AM at the church. A gathering to honor Marcus will take place at the church, following the service.

Prayers, cards, and whatever’s on your heart is certainly welcomed.

Charming, witty, caring, friendly, outspoken, proud, and social - these words only begin to describe Marcus' vibrant personality. He generously shared his lessons on how to be kind, going above and beyond for those he cared about, and loving with one's whole being.

Among his greatest accomplishments, Marcus was known for being one of the youngest system analysts at his place of work, providing for his family through a successful career, and cherishing his marriage. His legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and being a true friend.

Marcus loved deeply. He gave his entire self to those he cared for and never hesitated to lend a hand to a friend in need. He prioritized the happiness and well-being of his friends and family above his own, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Marcus embraced the best that life had to offer and was never afraid to share it with those around him.

He will always be remembered as a beacon of love, light, and heartfelt laughter. Rest in peace, Marcus - you will be deeply missed.
